a functional material with a three-dimensional porous network structure. In batteries, it mainly serves as a positive electrode current collector and carrier for active substances.
Its core advantages lie in its unique structure and performance: Firstly, it has a high porosity (usually 80% - 98%), and the three-dimensional network skeleton can evenly carry a large amount of positive electrode
active substances (such as nickel hydroxide), while providing sufficient channels for the penetration of electrolyte and the migration of ions, thereby enhancing the battery reaction efficiency. Secondly, it has excellent
electrical and thermal conductivity. The pure nickel material can reduce the internal resistance of the electrode and minimize heat accumulation during charging and discharging, ensuring battery stability. Thirdly, it has
good mechanical strength and toughness, which can maintain structural integrity during long-term battery charge and discharge cycles, avoiding capacity decline due to the shedding of active substances.
