Its working principle is based on mechanical stamping. After the equipment is energized, the motor starts, and the power is transmitted to the disk cutter assembly through the belt, gear and other transmission devices. Under the control of the precise control system, the high-speed rotating disc knife quickly and accurately presses the battery cell material placed on the workbench according to the preset trajectory and parameters. At the moment of stamping, the disc knife contacts with the cell material of the battery, and the strong pressure causes the local plastic deformation of the material, so as to rush out the holes that meet the design requirements, which play a key role in the ion transport and gas discharge inside the battery.

The bench is used to carry the battery cell material and is equipped with a precise positioning device to ensure the exact position of each punch. When operating, first set the relevant parameters in the control system according to the specifications of the battery cell and the punching requirements. Then the battery cell material is placed on the workbench and accurately positioned. Then start the equipment, and the operator closely observes the punching process to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. After finishing the punching, the battery cells are removed for quality testing.
