The snake ranks sixth in the order of the zodiac cycle. Its origin is closely related to folk legends. It is said that when Xuanyuan Huangdi selected the twelve zodiac animals, the snake was chosen for its resourcefulness, bravery and spirituality. In ancient legends, the snake was often accompanied by deities and regarded as a symbol of good luck and protection.

Its sinuous figure as it moves through nature is both agile and powerful, a characteristic that made it quite charming in the eyes of the ancients and thus secured its place in the zodiac culture.
